TYSON FURY SPOTTED IN RARE OUTING AFTER OLEKSANDR USYK DEFEAT

Tyson Fury was spotted enjoying a 'Sunday Funday' with wife Paris three weeks on from his loss to Oleksandr Usyk.

The Brit lost out on the chance to become the first undisputed heavyweight world champion in 25 years when Usyk beat him on points in Saudi Arabia. Their rematch was expected to take place in October but has been pushed back to December 21 as Fury will look to avenge the only loss of his professional career.

Fury enjoyed some time away from the gym this past weekend as he visited Leeds town centre with Paris and his sister-in-law Montana. The former heavyweight champion had a grin on his face whilst posing alongside his family. Tyson’s brother Tommy gave an update about the former heavyweight champion’s boxing future by telling iFLTV : “He's alright, all good, all good.”

"Listen, at the end of the day it was a close fight, I did think Tyson did enough to win it. I thought the first half of the fight was a shutout and they picked up a couple of rounds after that, so I thought he won the fight. At the end of the day it’s boxing, decisions happen and he’ll be back for the rematch."

Usyk came close to stopping Fury in the ninth round but the Brit was saved by the ropes and referee. Tommy thinks his brother will avenge his defeat as he added: “One hundred per cent he’ll win the rematch. There’s not a doubt in my mind that when the rematch happens he’ll right that wrong and get the victory back and move on to the next.”

Fury and Usyk’s rematch could have a major rule change as WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman wants the bout to be scored by six judges instead of three. Sulaiman tried to make the rule change for their first fight but Fury’s American promoter Bob Arum dismissed the idea. "I will campaign for the WBC fights to those who are eligible, and we are going to start doing it,” he told Casino Reviews.

“It came down to the other organisations and the promoters not supporting the idea so we will do it as usual in the WBC fights," “Scoring is subject, it's a complicated task but I believe a split decision win for Usyk is more than fair and acceptable. Our position is to always have the best possibilities to avoid a controversy and that's why we wanted six judges."
