SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER'S NEW HAIRCUT IS GOING VIRAL AT THE U.S. OPEN

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler entered this weekend's U.S. Open as the heavy betting favorite - and for good reason.

He's been easily the best player on tour this season, winning the Masters and finishing top-10 in the PGA Championship even after getting arrested. Scheffler came into the week fresh off of a win at the Memorial, a tournament put on by Jack Nicklaus.

That wasn't the only thing fresh about Scheffler on Thursday afternoon, though. Fans noticed the two-time major winner was sporting a new hairdo for the year's third major.

With a healthy tan, it was easy to see the fade Scottie received before the tournament kicked off.

"Scottie with the fresh fade?! Oh it’s over," Fore Play Pod joked on Thursday morning.

Fans couldn't get enough.

"Trying to clean up his image," one fan joked following his arrest at the PGA Championship in May.

"We never even left and we’re still so back," joked another.

"Lost 20 years with a pair of clippers," offered a third.

It's been an interesting day for Scottie, who sits at two-over par after carding two bogeys in his first six holes.
