Remco Evenepoel survived a scare to secure his second gold at the Paris Olympics.
Evenepoel suffered a puncture to his back wheel in the closing stages of the Olympics men's road race but still managed to prevail after calling for another bike.
Belgian star Evenepoel previously prevailed in the time trial.
On this occasion the 24-year-old was mainly competing with Valentin Madouas of France.
Despite the difficulty that he endured late on, Evenepoel managed to win by one minute and eleven seconds.
With Madouas receiving the silver medal, his compatriot Christophe Laporte secured bronze.
Ben Healy of Ireland finished in tenth place, with Team GB's Tom Pidcock in 13th.
Evenepoel is the first man to win the road race and the time trial at the same Olympics.
