U.S. SOCCER IS NOT LETTING ANYONE COMMENT ON 4TH OF JULY POST

After crashing out of the Copa America without advancing through group stage, pretty much everyone agrees it's time to get rid of head coach Gregg Berhalter.

Just days after failing to advance, though, the United States soccer team had something else in mind - and is getting roasted for it. U.S. Soccer wished everyone a Happy Fourth of July, but turned off the replies to their tweet.

They probably wish they could turn off quote tweets too, because they're now getting crushed in post engagements rather than the replies section.

"If you are curious about the state of the men’s US soccer team, they turned off replies for this post," one fan joked.

"Disallowing comments on this tweet is a great barometer for the current state (and maturity) of the USMNT Twitter fanbase," offered another.

Here's the tweet in question.

Even former USMNT star Tim Howard is ready for U.S. Soccer to move on from Berhalter as head coach - though he insisted the players are also to blame. He even offered a replacement: Jurgen Klopp.

"I am willing to help my country in any way I can. Proud to serve. So if I was in charge of US Soccer right now, I'd be on my way to the airport," Howard said. "Why? Because I believe I could make a very compelling argument to Jurgen Klopp to take over the US Men’s National Team.

"After the disappointment of Copa America, after the United States lost to Uruguay and exited at the group stages, I will personally fly to Spain. I mean it. I know Klopp has only been retired a few weeks and I know he wants a break. But if we sat around his villa in Spain, I think I could lure him over here. 100 percent."
